Mr. Fields has served as the Dallas Region’s Fair Lending Examination Specialist (FLEXS) for the FDIC since January 2004. He is a 21‐year FDIC veteran, beginning his tenure with the FDIC in the Little Rock, Arkansas Field Office in August 1993. Mr. Fields gained his Commissioned Examiner status in that office in September 1996. After being promoted to a Senior Compliance Examiner in September 1998, Mr. Fields served in that role within the Little Rock and, subsequently, Dallas, Texas Field Office, until being promoted to his current position. In addition to his current duties, Mr. Fields has served as a lead course instructor for FDIC’s Corporate University’s Fair Lending School in Washington, D.C. since January 2006, having taught numerous classes since that date. Mr. Fields hails from Dallas, Texas. He is a graduate of East Texas State University (now Texas A&M – Commerce), Commerce, Texas, where he earned a B.B.A. degree in Marketing/Finance.

Russ Horn has more than 15 years of professional, technical, and information security experience. He serves as the President for CoNetrix, a full service security, compliance, and IT consulting firm. In addition to performing IT audits and security consulting, he has taught technology courses at the University level, spoken at various security conferences, and published multiple security articles. Russ has a B.A. in Mathematics and an M.S. in Management Information Systems.
