General Meeting

General Meetings begin at 12:00 P.M. For live in person meetings, we encourage you to arrive early to network with other compliance professionals and enjoy lunch, which will be served at approximately 11:30 A.M.

As we continue our “Dive into 2025,” our March round table general meeting is aimed at “Navigating Compliance under a New Administration.” Under the new White House Administration, with the compliance and legal ramifications being so fluid at the moment, our March General Meeting will be centered around a unique “round table” type of event. Our meeting will focus on how the new administration is impacting the financial industry, with a focus on compliance.

We are pleased to have John Podvin, an attorney with Otteson Shapiro, lead our discussion, with some of our own DACA Board Members helping to moderate and facilitate. He will speak on certain topics related to his experience and understanding of recent events. This will include, for example, the administration’s regulatory freeze, recent 1071 stay, and other supervisory or regulatory current events.
